LOCAL FOOD! LOCAL CHEFS! GLOBAL CUISINE!
The "CHEF at the MARKET" series began as a way to educate the community on the benefits of shopping, preparing and eating local food. The Market applied for and received a grant to fund the start up costs of the program. Every Saturday through October local chefs are featured doing demonstrations and tastings with local food from the Market. Recipes are provided and participants may sample the food and ask the chef questions.
Demonstrations begin at 11:00 a.m. and are held on 8th Street between Main & Idaho near the Market Information Booth
