Capital City Public Market has three categories of vendors
that sell their products.

| Agriculture |
The Market encourages fresh local produce. At least 75% of the products sold weekly must have been grown or produced by the vendor. Of the remaining 25%, vendors may resell or consign prduce obtained only from other local growers. |
| Specialty Foods |
Specialty food products or "value added" products sold at the Market must be grown or produced by the vendor. Vendor's work must dominate and raw ingredients must be significantly altered and/or enhanced by the vendor. |
| Artisans |
The Market exists by maintaining a diverse mix of local artisan products for sale. All artisan products offered for sale at the Market must be handmade and approved by the Market Management. At least 50% of the value of the finished product must be an original, unique design and/or workmanship of the vendor. There will be no reselling of any artisan product! |
